News Update: April 24, 2006

Five senior management consultants in the Sacramento, California area plan to invite applications for The Oak Tree Project Service Grant from non-profit organizations in Sacramento, Placer, Nevada and Yolo Counties. David Stoebel, Kim Silvers, Larry Mandelberg, Kathi Simonsen and Jim Kaupanger recently joined the highly successful Oak Tree Project team founded in 2004 by Erica Brevet-Stott, Barbara Chan CMC, Al Peterson CMC, Dale Radcliff and Jon Seidel CMC. Designed to build capacity in our communities, The Oak Tree Project is entering its third successful year.

Other Oak Tree Project "Acorn Teams" led by Deobrah Hornberger CMC and Lori Zuppan, have been working with non-profits in San Francisco and the East Bay. All the volunteer consultants are members of the Institute of Management Consultants (http://www.imcusa.org) and the Northern California Chapter (http://www.imcnorcal.org). IMCUSA is a national association that sets ethical standards for conduct in business with management consulting associations in over 30 other countries.
